How the KY-560 Works
A four-stage automated cycle ensures perfect book construction from block presentation to finished case-bound product — every time.
Book Block Loading
The glued and pressed book block is positioned on the infeed conveyor. The PLC detects block dimensions and adjusts glue head spacing automatically.
Endpaper Gluing
Precision cold-glue (or hot melt) rollers apply a measured, consistent adhesive coat to both endpapers simultaneously, controlled to ±0.1 mm thickness.
Case Alignment
The hardcover case is automatically aligned and centred over the book block using servo-actuated guides. Square and round spine profiles are accommodated.
Pressing & Discharge
Consistent pressure is applied across the full cover area to bond endpapers to the case. The finished hardcover book is discharged to the outfeed conveyor.
